Acupuncture is a safe and effective form of medicine that can treat both chronic and acute conditions. It can be used as a sole treatment or it can be used alongside conventional medicine to increase effectiveness. It is particularly helpful in cases where the patient feels that conventional medicine is not making enough of a difference. As well as the improvement in their condition, many people also experience a strong sense of wellbeing and use acupuncture to increase levels of energy and lift their spirits. This is especially valuable given the challenging nature of modern life.

Katherine Hutchings LicAc AAC RBAFO has had a busy acupuncture practice for over 30 years. Graduating from the College of Traditional Acupuncture in 1986, she also trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and has developed a uniquely effective integration of the two main styles, Five Element Acupuncture, and TCM which is currently practiced in Chinese hospitals.

Katherine is also a Reiki practitioner, using a form of hands-on healing which combines especially well with acupuncture. She is an accredited member of the British Acupuncture Association, and also a member of The Taoist Tai Chi Society of Great Britain.
